A stock trader or stock trader or stock trader is a person or company involved in the trading of equity securities.
Stock traders can be agents, hedgers, arbitrageurs, speculators, and stockbrokers.
Such stock trading in large public companies can be carried out through the stock exchange.
Shares of small public companies can be bought and sold on over-the-counter (OTC) markets.
Stock traders can trade on their own account, called proprietary trading, or through an agent authorized to buy and sell on behalf of the owner.
Trading through an agent is usually done through a stockbroker. Agents are paid a Commission for completing the transaction.
Major stock exchanges have market makers who help limit price fluctuations (volatility) by buying and selling shares of a particular company on their own behalf, as well as on behalf of other clients.
William Delbert Gunn (June 6, 1878-18, 1955) or WD Gunn, was a financial trader who developed technical analysis tools known as Gunn angles, 9 square, hexagon, 360 circle (these are the main charts). Gann’s market forecasting methods are based on geometry, astronomy and astrology, as well as ancient mathematics. Opinions about the value and relevance of his work are sharply divided. Gunn has written several books on trading.
Gunn was born on June 6, 1878 in Lufkin, Texas. His father was a cotton farmer. He started trading in 1902, when he was 24 years old.
He was considered a religious man by nature who believed in the religious as well as scientific value of the Bible as the greatest book ever written. This can be seen repeatedly in his books. He was also a 33rd degree Freemason of the order of the Scottish rite, to whom some attributed his knowledge of ancient mathematics, although he was also known for studying ancient Greek and Egyptian cultures.
