This module will help you: Explore the four quadrants of Integral Health: psycho-spiritual, biological, interpersonal, and cultural / social. Define the main elements of the integral model. Understand the role that development of consciousness plays in managing the entire process of integral health. Continue to develop your meditation practice by introducing techniques that increase clarity and presence and reduce mental dullness. Integrate meditative listening into your daily life. MODULE 3 (SEPTEMBER 23rd) THE DEVELOPING LINK BETWEEN MIND AND BODY: CULTIVATING YOUR INTERNAL DEVELOPMENT TO TRANSFORM YOUR PHYSICAL HEALTH We all know about the interaction of mind and body. For example, we know that when we are nervous, we have a physical reaction. This is both common sense and established science. But how much do we know about the more subtle interactions of mind and body – about the effects of expanding consciousness on brain function, structure, and beyond? How do we translate the abilities imparted by meditative stability into biological harmony and well-being? This module will help you: Honor your body as precious because it is the home of your consciousness. Learn about the evolution of our understanding of mind-body interactions, including perspectives on psychology, biofeedback, psychoneuroimmunology, and neurobiology. Integrate subtle body awareness and practice into your daily life. MODULE 4 (SEPTEMBER 30th) Awakening a noble heart: CONSCIOUSLY DEVELOPING YOUR INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP How do we transform disconnection into connection and disharmony into harmony? In this session, you will gain a deeper understanding of how meditation and inner development can help transform your personal relationships. This is possible for you – regardless of the nature of your job. Selfless service opens the heart, purifies the mind, and propels you along the path to integral well-being. This module will help you: Learn about the timeless understanding that is driving this transformation. Identify five skills that are fundamental to developing compassionate ministry – regardless of career or project type. Integrate these skills into your daily tasks. Take on the role of “healer” in your work environment. Integrate the practice of transforming work into ministry into your daily life. MODULE 6 (OCTOBER 14) TURNING ADVANCES INTO OPPORTUNITIES: RELEASING FINE LEVELS OF SUFFERING AND MENTAL DISORDER
In this session, you will discover that adversity, both internal and external, can be a powerful opportunity for personal development. Regardless of your specific circumstances, there are skills and techniques for transforming problems and conflicts into opportunities for growth. When we master this process, you will no longer be afraid of yourself, or your emotional suffering, or the anticipated hardships of life. This module will help you: Understand the root cause of suffering and emotional distress. Discover three common, habit-based responses to suffering or adversity that inadvertently fuel a problem. Develop the five skills that turn suffering and adversity into opportunities, bringing challenges on the path to holistic health and life. Learn to integrate inner mental calmness and mental clarity – the basis for becoming peaceful and carefree on the inside – while dealing with complexities in the outer world. MODULE 7 (OCTOBER 21) HUMAN PROSPERITY AND PERFECTION OF HEALTH: INTEGRATING The great sage Aurobindo spoke of what he called the perfection of health. Moreover, it is available to all individuals, regardless of their physical health. The perfection of health – the flourishing of a person – is a state of being, not a state of biology. This module will help you: Understand how you can maintain high levels of well-being throughout all cycles of human life. Discover the qualities and three phases of human prosperity – serenity transcending understanding, discerning wisdom, enduring happiness, compassion, unlimited freedom and perfection of health.
