Michael W. Taft – Deconstructing Yourself Podcast
Description An amazing refreshing take on meditation ***** Michael has a great way to get to the bottom of things. It’s refreshing to have a straightforward, no-nonsense, no-love-dove, hippie BS approach to self-awareness, mindfulness and meditation. Too often, these podcasts are about “wellness” rather than awakening to the reality of the human condition. I really like how Michael takes it. I look forward to new such cases … Brilliantly! ***** A witty and wise exploration of the depths of the ocean of consciousness. This podcast makes me laugh out loud and nod in agreement. Fun, exciting and wonderful. Huge gift ***** It is such a gift to listen to Michael Taft’s conversations with other longtime meditation teachers. There is a way that Buddhism teaches entirely — how to convince people to try something that will lead them to experiences they haven’t had before? Or will ideas they may not know about will benefit them? They helped me think about what I’m really looking for and how I’m going to go about it. Highly recommend! Thank you Michael Taft! ***** Very useful. It helped me a lot! It’s worth it ***** There is so much talk about meditation that it never gets to the point of what meditation really means. It really does this, leaving behind all the nonsense that is usually wrapped in mindfulness. This is a truly entertaining, enlightening, and thought-provoking podcast that will surely raise the stakes in your personal practice. Food for the brain and soul ***** The perfect combination of food for the brain and soul. Conversations about nirvana and neurology. The mind expands! ***** I love it! More please! Exciting, mind-changing and fun ***** I found myself learning, growing, disagreeing, giggling and basically really enjoying this podcast. If you’re ready to challenge long-held assumptions and deconstruct yourself, go ahead and subscribe. You will not regret it. The long awaited prospect of awakening! ***** I just listened to the first 3 episodes of the podcasts, and I have to say that this is a welcome and refreshing look at the practices that lead to liberation and awakening. The three-part interview with Kenneth Folk about Buddhist meditation was informative, funny and frankly honest about meditation practices, unrealistic expectations, and the unglamorous and very common results of the practice. How so … more
