Description Jason Anderson, 500 ERYT, is a former University of Florida athlete and professional basketball player who became a tenured yoga teacher in 2008. In addition to his regular class schedule, Jason conducts training and retreats for teachers. His work with professional athletes includes the Atlanta Hawks NBA. His training with Shiva Rea in chakra, Elemental and rasa vinyasa helped to refine his style. Jason excels at guiding the lives, sports and activities of athletes in the empowering practice of being present, yet cool, serene yet aggressive, strong yet calm, in motion yet graceful. Its streams are orchestrated with rhythmic movements anchored by a grounded foundation and led by a breath ballad intertwined with dialogue that inspires the goal of the practice. As a former Division 1 and professional athlete turned yogi, Jason has a deep connection with both athletes and individuals. He is inspired to guide his students to connect with their inner glow of self-esteem and achieve their potential for greatness, with the goal that these strengths move beyond the mat and become a guiding light for situations on the court, on the pitch and in everyday life.
