Product Description
Innovative Law Enforcement Lipstick – When you’re in law enforcement, there’s no room for guessing. You need to have the proper tools, techniques and training to deal with potential threats.
That’s why this Tonfa Police Baton special instruction program was developed by Okinawan Kobudo (Ancient Weapon Ways) pioneer, North American martial arts pioneer Sid Campbell, over 30 years ago.
It was the first and original Side-Handle Baton training regimen to be introduced to law enforcement agencies in the United States.
There is a big difference between formal martial arts training and martial arts self-defense tactics.
Formal martial arts training takes place through daily practice over a long period of time.
This program is much less involved.
Deputies must learn defense without weapons, because they are placed in positions where they must defend themselves.
Often, such as when working (prison) corrections, they are not allowed to carry weapons.
But unarmed defense is only part of the entire defense tactics program included in this highly informative educational course.
Campbell masterfully reveals and demonstrates why Tonfa Police Lipstick is more versatile than the so-called straight stick.
He carefully explains and teaches that he is faster because he has a short grip that is perpendicular to his body.
This small yawara handle is used as a pivot point where the user can use levers and fulcrum tactics not possible with the straight stick.
The pole is rotated so that leverage, rather than the physical movement of the deputy’s arm, is not necessarily required to operate the side pole.
The result?
The rod moves faster with less effort and greater force.
It also blocks and can be used in control and removal techniques like no other stick on the market.
There are over 75 very effective techniques artfully taught and thoroughly explained in this masterfully produced instructional course.
