Alma Lilia Garcia-Almanza obtained her Ph.D. and Master in Computer Science from the University of Essex, UK (2008, 2004). She works at the Central Bank of Mexico as a systems analyst. He is currently a member of the Mexican Researchers System and holds a Title Award as a Visiting Member from the University of Essex. His research has focused on financial forecasting; He has created different methods based on evolutionary algorithms to treat rare cases in data sets with extreme imbalance by extracting patterns. He has published his research in numerous articles in international scientific journals and book chapters.
