About the Actor
George J. SmithPratt, Ph. D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 4884) in private practice in La Jolla, California, where he has specialized in psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, mind / body techniques, and performance enhancement for over 30 years. Dr. Pratt served as Chairman of the Department of Psychology at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for 25 years. Dr. Pratt is a Member and Certified / Approved Consultant of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and past President of the San Diego Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is a diplomat of the Association for Integrated Energy Psychology and the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association. Dr. Pratt has worked on the faculty of the University of Minnesota on “The Joy Code: A Four-Step Solution to Unlocking Your Natural State of Happiness,” “Instant Emotional Healing: Acupressure for Emotions,” “Clinical Hypnosis,” and “Hyper-Productivity: Unleashing Your Business Potential.” He was a frequent guest on the Larry King live show.
