Medicine has been around for thousands of years, during most of which it was an art (an area of skill and knowledge) frequently having connections to the religious and
philosophical beliefs of local culture. For example, a medicine man would apply herbs and say prayers for healing, or an ancient philosopher and physician would apply bloodletting according to the theories of humorism.
In recent centuries, since the advent of modern science, most medicine has become a combination of art and science (both basic and applied, under the umbrella of medical science).
While stitching technique for sutures is an art learned through practice, the knowledge of what happens at the cellular and molecular level in the tissues being stitched arises through science.

This workout followed on the heels of Butt and Belly (I Dare You). At first when I heard the title I was surprised that Abs would be back in the rotation so quickly. It is another alternating workout, Back then Belly; for pull ups Tony aims for 20 for most sets and for abs 30 with a few exceptions. It is a slower pace than most of Tony’s workouts, with mini breaks between most sets. You will definitely feel the burn on this one. The specific exercises are:

Filmed on Tony’s 51st birthday, there is a lot of joking and fun in this workout. Even though it is just 36 minutes it is a great workout, especially if you combine it with one of the shorter cardio workouts. I like to do it then do 2 rounds of the 10 Minute Shadow boxing from the 10 Minute Crusher Pack. And next month’s On One Leg looks just crazy.
