Description: Eddie Bravo took a rare and obscure wrestling pin from high school and twisted it into the submission hold for Mixed Martial Arts and Jiu-Jitsu – the TWISTER. Eddie’s mastery of that notorious spinal finish earned him a spot at the ADCC (Abu Dubai Combat Club), where he faced the legendary Royler Gracie, whom he submitted while still a brown belt. To put that victory in perspective – no one had scored a point on Royler in ADCC competition until that day – and no one has submitted him since.

Traditional Jiu-Jitsu bosses feared the power of Twister so much that they banned it from most sanctioned fights, but it’s still free in MMA. And while Twister itself is banned from all but the most advanced levels of Jiu-Jitsu competition, Eddie has turned Twister into a complete submission system that offers multiple paths to submissions appropriate for all levels of competition.
