Dan has a rich background with the town of Brea, having grown up in Country Hills Estates and attending Olinda Elementary, Brea Jr. High and Brea High School. He has worked in the development, teaching and supervision of after-school marching bands and enrichment programs in Creative Brain Learning and served as director of the Brea Olinda Unified School District Elementary School Band.
“Opening up Brea Jiu-Jitsu allowed me to unite several passions under one banner. Every time my alarm goes off at 5:15 am to start morning training, I can truly say that I feel genuine excitement to start my day. It took me more than a decade of work to position myself in a place where there was no difference between work and leisure. I sincerely hope that my enthusiasm for this wonderful martial art is contagious. My goal is not only to provide the highest level of instruction in competitive Jiu-Jitsu, but to use the art as a vehicle for change in a student’s life. ”
